Who is Khadija Lynn?

Firstly here is a beautiful flower from my Garden. Thank you for visiting me today!


I would like to tell you a bit about myself and why I decided to start a blog.
I am a Proud Mommy of two wonderful children. One is three and a half and the other is now 15 months old.
I was a working mom for about a year and a half. Back then I only had one child. It was difficult for me to go back to work, when I desperately wanted to remain close to my son. I did love my job. I was in customer service and I loved the interactions I had each day... It was at times stressful, but a good stress. I LOVED being on the go and up until almost 9 months pregnant I was still refusing chairs and running around serving customers. It was great exercise. That being said, I began to realize that I was missing out on a lot with my child. I was also becoming increasingly tired with work and home duties and not enough ME TIME!!.

God's plan for me

When I became pregnant with my second child, I had not yet decided to be a stay at home mom. After all things are so much simpler with two incomes coming in. Simpler money wise, but in every other area that matters, it was so much more complicated.
The more I thought about it, the more quitting my job made sense to me.
I had missed out on so much with my first child. He saw the daycare worker more than he saw his mom.I did not want to miss out on anything with my second child. Children are only young once! I have heard so many parents say," oh how I wish my children were young again". or "take advantage of them now because they grow too fast".

So I decided to be a stay at home mom. Now I don't miss a moment of my children's lives and for that I am grateful every single day. I don't miss a laugh. a giggle, a WOW moment, a hug a kiss....None of it. So I don't miss work in the least. This is my new full time job, the other job is a thing of the past. This is my new life and I love it!

Now on to why I started this blog ...

Frankly I need an outlet for my feelings and thought's. Also I have always loved to write. It is a passion of mine. So why not put it to good use??? I hope that my post's will enlighten readers. I also hope to learn from others opinions. I also made a promise to myself that my blog will contain quality material. Seeing as I am nor only a mom, but a peace loving person,  and I also believe in the good of humanity without disregarding the dark side of it. Most of my post's will probably revolve around these topic's I figure that with the little spare time that I have, I should use it wisely and try to make a difference in the world, however small it may be.

A few of my goals and interests ...

-I am working on two children's books. I hope to publish them and others one day.

-I would like to home school my children. I am still doing a lot of research on this, I am aware of the possible disadvantages. However for me personally the advantages in today's world seem to out weigh the disadvantages. This is not set in stone but I do have my heart set on it. So we will see.


I hope this post has given you a better idea about who I am. Also please be patient because I am new to the blogging world. But I hope to get better at it with your help. I also hope that you can learn one thing from me that will add a little ray of sunshine into your lives.
